Remona Edenfield, CSA

Certified Senior Advisor®

Remona Edenfield is a native Kentuckian and longtime resident of Lexington, where she has raised her children, serves her community through her commitment to others, and enjoys a meaningful career that leaves a mark on the Bluegrass. Edenfield is uniquely adept at assisting others in thoroughly planning and preparing for the unexpected, as well as the inevitable, and for helping families get through those times. Her empathy, understanding and grace guide the most difficult conversations. Her caring and compassion uphold others during the hardest losses. Many count on her knowledge and experience and trust her guidance.

Having spent decades in institutional advancement at her alma mater, the University of Kentucky, and then at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, Edenfield became an expert in advising high net-worth individuals on making transformative philanthropic decisions. Having also led non-profit health and public service fundraising, awareness, advocacy, media relations, and community programs for over a decade, she understands firsthand the culture of the Bluegrass and the needs of our citizens and families. Also, a dedicated lifelong volunteer, Edenfield’s past service includes two terms as president of a philanthropic social organization, as well as years of leadership in state and local organizations and with grassroots advocacy efforts.

Edenfield is a Certified Senior Advisor, enabling her to better serve clients and their families, and expects to be certified as a daily money manager in 2024. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2004, earning a bachelor of science.

In early 2023, Edenfield launched Bluegrass Final Matters LLC to help individuals and their families plan and prepare for the transitions that will ultimately occur for each of us. She is able to take a confidential and comprehensive look at one’s affairs, then quickly evaluate and advise on necessary steps to ensure essential decisions have not only been made, but also documented and communicated. She can expertly serve as the executrix of estates, and is often named as the contingent conservator of estates, when the primary conservator is unable to serve.

Some of the hardest decisions and conversations surround your end-of-life planning. Navigating these details, and sharing your intentions with those you love, can be easier when you have a champion who is a seasoned expert at dealing the most difficult matters in life. Trust that what matters most to you is also what matters most to Remona, as she advocates for and advises her clients and their families through the challenges of planning, executing, and closing the details of their homes and estates.
